Relapse Session by Magical Girl

This was recorded on 9/15/23 and was the final relapse before I went into detox.

I am incredibly distraught and emotional in this album. Its visceral and vulnerable to an extreme. I was getting intoxicated as it progressed, but I think its still important to release and show that part of me and my emotional turmoil during.

I am reeling after going to the detox program, it was the most traumatic experience of my life. I had a prolonged mental crisis due to how many drugs they gave me. I trusted the doctors, nurses and therapists and it backfired completely. I went in for help for my alcoholism and came out with brand new trauma. I have a firm resolution to not drink again so I never have to go back to a place like that ever again. The doctors, nurses and therapists did not validate my issues, symptoms and concerns. I was mistreated, felt completely alone, terrified and had no option but to check myself out. I'm detailing this here because its incredibly important to my musical and life journey. I'm working on catching up on the days I missed during this episode and will continue to finish the year of releases.

To note: I will be dating each album for the days I missed out on and catch up to the current date. I know they were not originally released on those days but for the sake of the project, that is how I will be doing it.
