I visited my mother, I had not seen her in two years. We spoke long hours into the night. In her quite voice she said, 'I am on the pathway of dying'. She wasn't sad, she spoke with a voice of understanding her mortal life. She is happy. She also said to me, 'in quietness and confidence shall be your strength'. I wrote this music for her.
