Transitions by OITU
'Transitions' is probably one of the most experimental and crazy songs I’ve made. I really wanted to start the year with something surprising and as upside down as last year was. Not a song I’d consider a traditional “single” but one that showcases how broad the range of my influences is. I really channeled my longing to simply create a moment of sonic expression and let out some of my frustration. Hope it helps you feel that same sense of freedom and courage that I felt while making it too.
OITU stands for “Out Into The Universe”.
If I was to describe my sound, I’d call it ‘Visual Music’ as my debut album title suggests. Music that evokes and explores feelings through rhythm and sound, like a sonic painting in motion.
Through intricate driving drum beats, ambient guitars, vocal textures and triumphant synths. all of my influences have finally merged into one.
