In the earth’s bowells.

It’s 8 o’Clock and it’s time to go down.
At 8 and five you might be a dead man.
In mine shafts workers are digging their graves.
Ready to be devoured by the earth.

They are terrified, it’s insanity !
They rush into their graves to feed western greed.

In poor lands, people are abused by thoses
Who make them think that they are poor people.
How could this be ? Would you stand it for you ?
If someone was despoiling you like this ?

Its guts are about to collapse !
Be quick to go out !
We need to escape !
I’m out and alive but…
Thousands are dead in the mines !

Innocent lives taken with disregard...
Does it trouble us ? Why are we, turning a blind eye ?

Blood ores are used for progress and profit.
So how could we say something against it ?
Does this mean we should end with all of it ?
And what if we were doing it fairly ?

How does it feel, to end below ?
In dust and fear, worms or martyrs ?
