Lyrics
Low resolution polygons,
On the mountain behinds,
We drank German beer, served by German men
The beer hall was wooden, mossy antique
But you weren’t you,
Though I was me,
Sixteen year old feeling of a person I knew
The sun pulled away, the snow changed from white to purple
I asked about your life, like we were at work
You smiled as you talked, but I’m a stranger
Low resolutuion polygons,
on the mountains behind us
We sat in the light, of an afernoon
The behemoth apex of an acient beast
But the sun stayed still
Though that’s what it does
A sadness filled up my heart, with amber chill
The distance between, the green crash ed though the table
I asked about your husband, like we were at work
You straighten your face, ‘cause I’m a villan
At least that’s what I felt, because…
That’s how I felt
I’m the mountain stationary,
Looking out on my life
I’m the sun and I’m pulling away,
Painting things in my light
I’m the beer hall verdant and true,
Serving you all my brews
I’m the distance, fill her on up,
Emptying out through my shoes
My old friend, where have you gone?
I used to return, to riding in your car
Now I think of a memory, distort and untrue
Why am I waiting for the waves to pass through?
Half remembered, low resolution
Rendered in waking light, invisble to me
