194 is a dystopian soundtrack, drawing on visions of concrete futures found so often in 1970s and 80s sci-fi cinema, and the synthetic soundscapes which accompany them.

Reflecting a brutalist asetheticism; in keeping with a style of art or architecture characterized by deliberate crudity of design; creating an austere style of auditory estrangement through massive and monolithic musical forms, rough-textured and unpolished materials - 194 reaches back to the often forgotten timbres of analogue synths and warm, fluttering tape - coupled, of course, with a healthy amount of twenty-first century sub bass...
