Oddyssey by ODDYSSEY

In mid-1999, Oddyssey got to work on their official 9-track LP with the help of financial backing from family and friends. It was decided that they were only going to name the LP from their own band name.

By the time Oddyssey released the self-titled LP the following year, they became a main stable in the Atlanta Nu Metal underground scene.

However, just when things were getting started for the group, they suddenly disbanded in 2000 when Marcus became a born-again christian and moved out of Georgia with his wife and two children, and Tenley going to rehab for her schizophrenia.

The remaining members made the decision to sell-off the LP for just $5 at a flea market, and was never published or heard from anyone again.

Suddenly, 20 years later, an anonymous source, claiming to be a former roadie, surfaced with a tattered DAT master tape that had all of the group's original material.

But the question remains: who is responsible for Oddyssey's return?

And what secrets does the DAT still hold? The answers, like the music itself, are shrouded in a haze of distortion and feedback.
