beast backs from VISIONS & REVISIONS by hollowbodies
This is a remix of a live improvisation I did with Barbara Arriaga. I feel more intimately connected to Barbara through music than just about anyone. She played with me for years in the C.J. Boyd Sextet, partly because the way we naturally play together is so intensely sensual. Jim recorded us playing in his studio, and decided to remix our intimate encounter into something else entirely. That remix then got added into the Kirtan Choir album "Unquestioned Answer", which was released on tape through Skrot Up Records in Copenhagen and on CD through Jeunesse Cosmique in Montreal. Here is presented the remix by itself, as it also stand alone quite nicely.

Hollowbodies is the solo project of James Edwards, my bandmate in MOVE, and one of my best friends for the last decade or so. He also plays in the group YOUR BONES, and has been a contributor in KIRTAN CHOIR.
