Failure by nrec, k.lust
Hey! It’s been a minute since I put out new music, and this release is a special one for me.
"Failure" is an album nearly a decade in the making with K. Lust called "Failure". I began writing it in Civitanova Marche during a tough time—grieving my late dog, unlearning life.
Anacleto Vitolo and I collaborated over the years as I moved to Berlin, and his drum work continued to surprise me throughout the album, as we sent the songs back and forth for our remote writing process.
Paolo Marozzi made the artwork for us with the minutia of a digital monk.
Failure is an essential step for inner growth and consciousness.
Not a sin, nor should it be a shame, as it is part of an eternal struggle which can bring humans together: a moment to face one's fears and gather the strength to move on.
"Failure" is a collaborative album by Nrec & K.Lust - composed and produced between Civitanova Marche and Battipaglia (Italy) and Berlin (Germany) in a timespan of a bunch of years - with the experimental approach of bouncing tracks back and forth with no boundaries and set rules.
