Les inhabitants sont ceux qui n'habitent pas. Ou qui n'habitent plus. L'esprit s'est libéré de sa demeure charnelle, qui est retournée à l'état de matière brute.Les lieux qui l'accueillaient ont changé aussi, ils ne sont plus, ils sont devenus des non-lieux. Le magma qui les remplace est une ré-organisation. Organique et vivante. La vie est toujours présente, mais a changé de forme, de nature, de dimension. Des poches de gaz s'échappent régulièrement de la masse bouillonnante, éruptive, et montent lentement en se libérant dans l'espace. Cet univers n'est pas inédit, il ne fait que réapparaître après un temps d'absence. Maintenant règne à nouveau l'harmonie.
The unhabitants are those who do not live in. Or who do not live in anymore. The spirit has freed itself from its carnal envelope, which has returned to the state of raw matter. The places that hosted it have changed too, they are no more, they have become non-places. The magma that replaces them is a reorganization. Organic and alive. The life is always present, but changed in form, in nature, in dimension. Pockets of gas regularly escape from the bubbling, eruptive mass, and slowly rise, releasing themselves into space. This universe is not new, it only reappears after a time of absence. Now harmony reigns again.

NLC started in July 1989 as a duo (Angustère & Julien ASH).
In 1990, Angustère left.
After the solo-CD "Incandescent", NLC started again, as ASH's solo project. Compositions became more melodic.The CD "Allegro Vivace" started the Neo-Classical period of NLC, which may not be finished today... NLC stopped in 2007 and reactivated in 2021 as a duo : Julien ASH and Aloïs L. (Photo Mathias L.)
