Canola from Bad Chemistry by No Matter

There’s a dearth begun, forcing me to try and get things done
While I’m still kind of young
There’s a drought in my head, replacing all the things I might have said
Reduced my words to shreds

And when all is said
Everything is just a waste of lead
Distraction prone, easily led

Canola, is this good enough for you
Or is everything the same?
Do I have to start again?

The pen is broke, the muse unwoke
Frustration pouring out of me like smoke

It’s been hard this time not to use a certain word to rhyme
But there’s always the next line
The last chance to express whatever the point is
But now it’s gone, I guess
