“The Summoning “- Is a Raw, cut-throat electronic track crafted by Nina Belief
which reveals the darker side of Mayan Culture. Shot entirely in Guatemala’s great
Lake Atitlan, surrounded by volcanoes, vortexes and esoteric undertones. Nina’s simplistic
choice of arrangements captures the pure ethnic kink and textured facade of this unique surrounding.
The short film, a collaboration with Carlo Pirrongelli, was impulsively shot upon arrival and is a result of the powerful
and evocative energy that surrounds the Lake.
Nina Belief is a solo female electronic artist based in Miami, focusing on the genres of minimal synth and wave. The Iranian born Tushna originally began making music in 2004 with no prior knowledge or training and uses primarily analog synthesizers and drum machines.
