Midnight Mood from It's On! by Nigel Price
I was listening to the Wes Montgomery version of Joe Zawinul’s Midnight Mood and I wondered what it would sound like with a double time feel. It was just a blueprint the day before the recording, but Ross and Joel latched on to it immediately, and it suddenly turned into an absolute burner! I think Joel said it was “The track of the album.”
