No Direction from DIG by Nick Swan
One of the last songs I wrote for the album, it kinda came out of nowhere and was written very fast. There's an Alice in Chains influence combined with the blues that I really dig. One of the most disappointing aspects of this pandemic has been the failure of leadership at the highest levels of our government. It's both sad and infuriating to know that it didn't have to be this way, if only basic competent leadership was displayed. We can plainly see this by comparing the outcomes of every other country with similar population and economic factors. One shouldn't look to politicians for a savior, but one expects better than this, especially from the supposed "Leader of the Free World." There is no direction. We are on our own.
