Ameriscots by Nicholas and Fiona

14 year old Nicholas and 12 year old Fiona attended a summer songwriting workshop ran by Olivia Whyte and Chloe Allison. They had 5 weeks to write and record 3 songs and create a music video for one of their chosen songs.

Song 1 is called Past Memories and was written after hearing an 80 year old man's story about growing up.

Song 2 is called Smoke and the Gunshots and is about the ongoing war in Syria.

Song 3 is called Women of the World and is about female empowerment and women working in jobs that are male dominated.

Nicholas and Fiona wrote all the lyrics. Fiona came up with the vocal melodies and Nicholas came up with the bass parts. The guitar and percussion were recorded by Chloe and Olivia to accompany Nicholas and Fiona.
