Chest by Nels Cline Trio
Originally released on Little Brother Records in June 1996. The first Nels Cline Trio record on little brother was their third record as a group. Chest is an epic record that spans the emotions from menacing to tender to furiously aggro to other worldly. The majority of the album was recorded almost three years prior to its release in 1996, as Nels thought it too extreme for his label at the time, Enja. An absolute classic.
