Brain Stains by Neil Kaufman

“Brain Stains” is primarily an acoustic guitar driven album (w/ 1 electric track) that straddles EP and LP; each of its 8, strong, distinct songs, led by the single "Duet", will immediately absorb and transport you somewhere else. These songs were basted in years of playing them for other musicians and artists to forge personal and professional friendships, written between the ages of 19 and 39.

The recording sessions took place in May and June 2024. In addition to Reverend Andrew Noe, who played on the congas, and Shane, REB Roberts was also present at the June session, our resident artist helping to produce a creative atmosphere á la Andy Warhol’s relationship with The Velvet Underground. The cover art is 1 of the original Rorschach inkblots, a public domain image, with custom lettering by Katrina Meyers.
