Magnolia Day by Neil Brogan

Magnolia Day is an album alive to the greenery and reawakening of possibility brought on by this season of all seasons, in the midst of a shape shifting pandemic when optimism is always shaded by doubt. Following on from 2020’s Weird Year, a debut solo collection of demos, the more assured and fully realised Magnolia Day was recorded at home this spring and inspired by the trees, flowers and weeds planted and uprooted in a small suburban garden in Belfast.
