Ojala by NDORFIK

Ojala took shape in spring, during a dive into FM synthesis, with multiple parameters twisting and evolving at once to create vivid, unpredictable tones. Its pulse carries the wind from Lake Ladoga, the scent of pine, and the rolling hills of the Karelian landscape. The music blends a playful edge with a dreamlike quality, its rhythm nodding to the experimental spirit of the Chiastic Slide era. The title comes from a small Finnish-named village, a reminder of the region’s lyrical place-names and timeless atmosphere.
