Submerged chambers echo with the weight of a thousand voices when this track hits its crescendo. We recorded "Cathedral Current" inside an actual flooded mineral cavern, where rebel factions had gathered under the glow of aquamarine lanterns—each faction suspicious, each ready to bolt at the first sign of betrayal. The acoustics down there were incredible; you can hear the cavern's natural reverb lifting each vocal harmony into something almost sacred.

Darje wanted this piece to capture that knife-edge moment when strangers decide to become allies. When we laid down the militant percussion sections, we used salvaged mining tools against the hull of an abandoned Sovereign crawler—listen for that metallic tension in the pre-chorus, the sound of trust being forged under pressure.

The orchestral swells weren't planned. We'd gathered twenty voices from different outposts, some who'd never met before, and when they first sang together, something changed in the room.
