Radiance by Naomi Dumas & Nate Sheppard

Naomi plays an amazing improvised violin. Nate does likewise with a piano. Put them together and you have this album. Recorded in 2010, this collaborative album is a rather serendipitous endeavor. After choosing a smattering of public-domain hymns and staking out a college choir room, Naomi and Nate arranged and performed 8 different tracks, some of them being completely original tunes. All tracks were arranged by improvisation.
