Noel by Natalie Kendel
Noel is a collection of Natalie Kendel's best Christmas songs from the past decade.
Many will be familiar with the Old French use of the word “Noël” in connection with Christmas.
However, a similar word - “Noel” - also exists in Hebrew. It is short form of “NOrad EL”, meaning “born of EL”, or “born of God.”
Although this Hebrew abbreviation has no connection with its pagan counterpart, it seemed a suitable title for a collection of songs about the birth of Jesus.
