Graceful Metaphors by Liverwort Lab

Japan-Based composer-bandleader Naoto Tomokane and his innovative 15-piece ensemble Liverwort Lab release their first album 2018.

This Orchestra with the theme of "Various moss growing in the rock" composed young musicians active in a wide range of fields, Classic, Jazz, Rock.

Started live activity in 2013 with the formation of flute, clarinet and bassoon added to the conventional ensemble. In order to pursue a more original sound, newly added marching baritone, an opera singer, it is now transformed into a very special Jazz Orchestra. Music is based on Jazz, it is full of graphic music and contemporary music, it is full of colorful feeling like painting, and recalls movie music.
