Audio residue of a graffiti film diary, recorded by ‘loli domo’ and ‘lorak’ over six months of 2021. Images removed, what’s left is a fragmented sequence of miniatures – sound scraps and cuts which coyly hint their origin. A chord, synthesised by a ‘szalwiarz’, dips in and out of focus, as do the snapshots of Poland, Sicily, Georgia, Lithuania, and Latvia in front of the lens.

No conversation takes place, but one made of truncated exclamations, alternating with the hum of a car engine, crashing of sea waves, and rattling of spray can marbles, as the couple marks their intimate encounters with local landmarks on their way. What is clear in overview: the passage of time, as it drips through a slit of perception of the present; is unidirectional, steady, but at once uneven. If paid careful attention, it can unfurl in its richness, bright and swirling. Otherwise, it appears as a cloud of static, like a blazing light shining in your eyes.

Dźwiękowe pozostałości filmu grafficiarakiego nagranego przez ‘loli domo’ i ‘lorak’ na przestrzeni sześciu miesięcy w 2021. Po usunięciu obrazu pozostała sekwencja wyrywkowych miniatur – strzępy i ścinki dźwięku nieśmiało uchylające rąbek tajemnicy swojego pochodzenia. Ukuty przez „szałwiarza“ akord rozmywa się i z powrotem wyostrza, podobnie jak migawki Polski, Sycylii, Gruzji, Litwy i Łotwy w obiektywie.

Postrzępione sylaby dialogują z warkotem silnika samochodowego, szumem morskich fal i grzechotaniem puszek z farbą, markujących intymne spotkania z miejscami na swojej drodze. Jeśli tylko trafi na cierpliwe ucho, ma okazję rozwinąć się w całej błyszczącej okazałości. Lub pozostać migoczącą chmurą szumu, jak promienie rażącego słońca przedzierające się przez zmrużone oczy.
