I couldn't sleep, the night felt like forever
While I was keeping looking at the clock
It never happened before, never
This sleepless feeling came to me as a shock

Maybe my tiredness didn't let me sleep
The next day I was expected so much to do
I turned off my alarm clock so that it wouldn't beep
Looked at my window, saw the sky pale blue

And I could sense the new day starting
The night was slowly departing
It was too late to try to rest
I needed to make do and look my best

So I thought I'd turn to some meditation,
Create my little song, use it for relaxation
As I didn’t want to dwell on being worn-out
I was seeking the right words to sing about

I'd like to share my sentiment with you
It's about beautiful sunrise
Which helped me stop feeling blue
Hope it will be magical for you too

Sunrise, you symbolize the new beginning
You give me hope, you bring the meaning
Of something special I could go for
I feel refreshed, I'm not tired any more
