Generic Organs from Invocation/Transformations by Muskox
Generic Organs began as a piece Jeremy Strachan wrote for our short-lived banjo and guitar duo. I took his music, inspired by Peter Hannan’s Generic Music, and kind of filtered it through Steve Reich’s Four Organs. A demo session yielded several decidedly maximalist organ solos by Ali Berkok that I trimmed and rearranged a little into the final middle section.
