Born in De Queen, Arkansas; Huey Poeta is an emerging artist from the southwest underground hip-hop scene.
A rapper since the age of 14, Huey Poeta finally managed to develop a sound that captures what it is like to be a creative thinker in an environment where being unique is considered an anomaly. After a variety of different styles and name changes, he finally developed a sound that captures the essence of being a "southern rapper"
As a result, Huey Poeta is known as the Arkansas Outkast.
