Words written, spoken and sung by myself, Deian Louis Francis Albert Victor Nicholas George Mountbatten:
[My epic synthesizer intro with polyphonic arpeggio synth and lead Moog Prodigy synthesizer intro solo and lead grand piano]
I am Mr. Deian Louis Francis Albert Victor Nicholas George Mountbatten, I was born on 19th November 1965, and I composed this song on my 14th birthday, on 19th November 1979, and I named it Maurya.
Our journey was long to the gates of Maurya.
We followed the song, we have learned from the ancient past that no one will last in Maurya.
We have got the key, of the gates of Maurya.
Step up and see, there is no other way for you, it is leading through, through Maurya.
Maurya!!
The gold on the ground, that's the way to Maurya.
Shimmering ground, sing the divine's symphony, I had to see that Maurya.
But we lost a friend in the throats of Maurya, prayed for the end of the journey we have made, but it's too late in Maurya.
[My Moog Prodigy synthesizer solo (for a short soli sequence I was inspired by a summer 1979 song of "The Crusaders" called "Street Life", listen carefully)]
Our journey was long to the gates of Maurya, we followed the song we've been taught in the golden past, no one can last in Maurya.
And the terrible sound, that's the evil symphony, we had to flee from Maurya.
Oh - Maurya. Maurya!! Maurya!!
Gold never found in the gates of Maurya. Terrible sound, that's the evil symphony, I had to flee from Maurya.
Our journey was long to the gates of Maurya, we followed the song, we heard lies on ancient past, no one can last in Maurya.
Oh-Maurya. Maurya!! Oh-Maurya. Maurya!!
[My epic synthesizer outro with huge polyphonic synth and lead Moog Prodigy synthesizer and lead grand piano, plus my vocals]
The gold on the ground, on the way through Maurya. Terrible sound, that's the evil symphony, we had to flee from Maurya.
But we lost a friend in the throats of Maurya. Prayed for the end of the journey we have made, but it is too late in Maurya, in Maurya.
Our journey was long to the gates of Maurya, we followed the song we've been taught in the golden past, no one can last in Maurya.
