Taking a break from her recent forays into (somewhat) more traditional songwriting, Rachel Evans continues her prolific run of Hooker Vision releases with a brief new pair of instrumental electronic pieces on "No Domino". The woozy opener, 'Before Dawn' sets the late night mood as a throbbing pulse emerges, heartbeat-like, about midway through. The B side, 'After Dark', plays like a shy mirror twin to 'Before Dawn'. Picking up the crumbs left by the A side, 'After Dark' settles into a nocturnal drone, building to a strikingly understated crescendo.
Begins shipping in early April.

"Prolific drone-maker Rachel Evans has a knack for shaping subtle rhythms, slow crescendos, and the wordless phrasings of her own voice... What makes it so enchanting is the way Evans melts her tones together; her vocals and synth seem to spawn each other. The result is a single, pure vision that just might make you believe there’s order in the universe." - Pitchfork
