Hubbub by Mosstone
This album is a wide spectrum showcase of the electric bass persuasively acting as lead, rhythm, and solo guitar. Though there are more primitive electric and upright bass lines, the charts are full of challenging licks. Each composition embraces story-like structure which many describe as cinematic – mood oriented passages. These moods are created in a genre difficult to pin, taking influence from jazz, minimalism, rock, metal, and impressionism; yet all have a groove and a hum-able melody.
