Arrivals & Departures by Moonwood

Our last trip into space before we return to the woods to brew up some new hallucinations from the forest flora.

'Arrivals & Departures' features songs audiences have heard at live gigs over the past few years but hadn't yet been committed to tape. From the blistering space sludge of "Jupiter" to the wizard rock of "Mother's Eyes" and the kosmische hard-rock of "Arrival", it's a worthy send off. Side two of the cassette features a full 16-minute freak-out live version of the aforementioned "Jupiter".

Originally released on a split cassette with Stargoon, "Cosmic Ghosts" now rejoins its brethren as the "side two" track it was always intended to be.

Also included are two tracks from Arrivals & Departures in special high-impact monophonic mixes for the 7" lathe cut form a which was released in a limited edition concurrently with the cassette album and sold out in pre-orders. "Mother's Eyes" gets stripped down to the bone and "Jupiter" goes juke-joint rockabilly with sax and a different guitar track.
