“Inflow Illusion”, Steve Rosborough’s second release under the Soothsayer moniker is an austere embodiment of new-age contemplation. Diaphanous and calmative, each of the eleven tracks feature allusive synth movements. The movements coalesce into a sequence of refined atmospherics – interstices of sound located in a well-ventilated abyss. If his first album was an act of untethering, of pushing off, Inflow Illusion is Soothsayer’s attempt to perfect the ambience of the celestial chasm.
