Focusing on the elements of free expression and intimate moments, the Los Angeles based group strives to create meditative music that soothes the listener and leaves them with a positive sense of self. An exercise in honesty, Candid follows the fluidity of a conversation. The capture of moments whether it is beautiful, painful, awkward, or strange. "It shares our visions and in particular unveils our creative process. The album acts like a bridge to our thoughts and feelings towards life." Entirely produced by Katrah-Quey, Candid moves constantly between soundscapes staying smooth and mellow. Students of the golden age, the three emcees relish the sound of renaissance rap whilst remaining contemporary with a relevant sound. Moon Blazers believe in expressing ones self and having a good time doing so. Thus, being candid.
