O/Y (pronounce "Oh Why", a.k.a. Jakob Ahrends), master of his signature sound and virtuoso in minimal funk, lands on Moodfamily with his latest 4 track explorations. In expert fashion, he manages - unlike anyone else - to create playful melancholy weaved into shuffled downbeats and synth-bending landscapes. As a classical trained drummer, he clearly knows how to construct devastatingly efficient grooves as he stretches your understanding of how dance music should sound. He just took the gloves off.
