The sixth installment of the Disgiunzioni series documents an evening chit-chat between four Hong Kong-based non-conventional guitar players. A meeting of strings and pickups, pedals and objects, chases and intrusions, extended techniques and intended misfires, with no commitment to structure, nor attention to climax. Moody sketches and improvised soundtracks for empty rooms.
We were a label. We published experimental and underground music between 2007 and 2017.
We did believe that the foremost feature of experimentation is excess, and hence our name: surplus, garbage, noise that generates unnecessary but productive forms.
We inhabited the underground with small-scale, limited editions, and we strove to channel all profit into our next batch of high-quality releases.
