Life Lines by Data Rebel
Silk Sofa is proud to present the "Life Lines" EP by UK artist Data Rebel. We recently witnessed Data Rebel's first contribution to our imprint with his remarkable remix of Jani R's "A Thousand Flares" single. "Life Lines" is a collection of three unique and memorable downtempo cuts.
"Plink" takes off with a truly haunting breakbeat and tranquil synth stabs. Subtle piano stems slowly emerge, while stunning sound effects add further texture to the soundscape. Breathtaking guitar elements are introduced later, which brilliantly accompany the soothing piano notes. In "Broken Note" an array of delicate rhodes stabs emerges, while a mesmerizing breakbeat is slowly introduced. A light theme lead appears later, and the well-structured sound effects continuously maintain the memorable atmosphere, delicately accompanied by lush piano melodies on top. Finally, "Karman Line" starts off with a slow breakbeat and deep bassline notes. It does not take long for the song to evolve into a stunning piece with tremendous sound effects and gorgeous soundscapes. Data Rebel's signature sound is in full effect in this song, including hypnotizing melodies and outer worldly textures.
