The voices become moaning
The moaning becomes screams
The floor speaks in squeaks
The screams answer with sudden silence

The world seems to stand still
As the unknown voice rushes past me
And the other is weeping in denial
While explaining its agony

The sounds slowly fade away
As the ringing in my ears becomes unbearable
