The lead single from Monophonics’ 2012 “In Your Brian” LP finally gets a proper 7-inch release. After DJs have begged for years, we finally acquired the rights and this gem of a cover will finally be available. And as if the psychedelic soul take on Sonny Bono’s “Bang Bang” wasn’t enough, Kelly Finnigan and company take on Ike Turner’s instrumental banger “Thinking Black” on the B-side.
