Retro Domestro by moff skellington
I recently bought myself a little cassette player with a view to digitizing my rare old world music tapes. I soon realized that, in addition to re-recording my Halifax music library rip-offs I could retrieve, in the form of a forwards half and a backwards half, the cassette four-tracks I made with my Korg Polyphonic synth back in the late eighties. I've wanted to do this for some time as, though I vehemently dislike the vocal performances of that time (I thought I had to sound like Michael Moorcock on that Hawkwind record), I was very fond of the tunes and the sounds I'd put them to. I'd seen an episode of Abandoned Engineering in which old Nazi and Soviet buildings were fundamentally re-purposed and thought: why not do the same with my synth tracks? Why not hand them over to the Lembryon Popstars for a sea change into something rich and unintelligible? So. that's what I did. RETRO DOMESTRO was the result.

Moff's chosen musical form is that of Edoddi, a species of folk music which celebrates the very individual and often skewed perceptions of the world engendered by modern life.
