Mirrored from The Imperfectionist by Mitch Benn
My friend Madelaine Hanson asked me for a favour a few months ago; she was putting a video pitch together for a horror movie she was writing and asked if I could provide some original music for it.
I came up with this, which actually recycles a bit of melody from a production of Macbeth I directed (and scored) in the early 90s... the horror movie, meanwhile, has undergone a few rewrites and changes of title but is still very much in development…

Mitch Benn is a comedian, author, satirical songwriter, musician and actor and is widely acknowledged as one of the best writers/performers of comedy songs in the UK. He is perhaps best known as being the resident comic songwriter on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show from 1999 to 2016.
