Her clear voice, is reminiscent of Sandy Denny, Canadian Joni Mitchell, Carole King and the great Kate Bush, while evoking the pop side of Norah Jones. Cooke sounds pure and clean but warm, and the songs, which speak of love and life, eternal and common themes, hit home, believable, slightly nostalgic and truthful.
