no telling how old i was or how long i'd been caged. those concepts didn't exist yet to me. what i felt was tired. it was finally enough, i'd agreed to die but still wasn't allowed to live.

something about a broken window worked as distraction. the last time he threw an ashtray at me was as the car pulled out the drive.
maybe one day he'll learn to finish tasks without a smoke break, ill never know.

artemis took the wheel just like on the island and the gasless car got us to a station, the outside baby was fine, confused but well. the inside baby, we needed to call hell for help.
