Locations: Russia by The Jazz Jousters

Following the release of Locations USA in 2017 and a few life situations along the way, The Jazz Jousters have finally completed the second addition to what is aimed to be the five part limited edition Locations vinyl series.

So allows us to reintroduce 'Locations: Russia', as the collective gathered once again to explore the sounds, influences and styles of Jazz music in different regions of the world.

In this session we hear the result of each Jouster as they were challenged to focus on the sounds and styles of Jazz that originated from Russia, and come up with an instrumental in their own style. See what you think of the outcome.

MJM is a collective of creatives and a tightly knit label based in London, with label siblings in various parts of the world.

Founded in 2003 with the main focus of providing production and sound engineering for artists and producers as well as workshops for young people.
