A slinky fragmented beat underpins other-worldly distortion and an incongruously bright boppy keyboard motif. Phrygian guitar lines hint at the allure of the exotic. The lyrics contain oblique references to patriarchal dominance and betrayal in a world where mirror and surface distort and hide reality. Ultimately the song is about naivety and innocence coming to realisation.
