Up and coming singer songwriter Miles Temp, 17 announces his 5th song released on 19.4.24 ahead of his debut performance at Liverpool's Sound City festival via the Launch artist Training and development programme.
Following the success of "Polaroid Picture," which garnered BBC Introducing airplay and a live performance by Billy Butler, Miles is back with another track. Miles has been supported by The Florrie playlists and LaVida Liverpool magazine. In this release, Miles ventures into new territory, exploring synths, extra vocals, and bass, aiming to capture vulnerability as a young singer-songwriter. The result is an ambitious and emotionally raw song that beautifully highlights his prowess as a songwriter.
This latest track is yet another testament to Miles' evolving musical vision. Recently played at a Sound City showcase, the song captivated the audience to the point of silence during a gig at Arts Bar. The feedback received was positive from his first showcase, with interest and future bookings. Independently managing his social media presence, Miles has garnered a healthy following with impressive engagement metrics for Tik Tok, IG and Spotify.
Miles started out on the Open Mic scene aged 15/ 16 and quickly gained some gigs and support slots which included James Holt. Miles' own headline show pre Christmas 2023 saw him sell out Ditto coffee in The Baltic, Liverpool where he is booked again in the summer.
His musical influences include Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Fender, Laufey and Phoebe Bridgers due to their emotionally moving lyricism and impactful arrangement.
