Colours from Colours by Mike Vivanco
This track is one of my favorites in the album. It was with this song that I wanted to take my falsetto to another level, which for me simply meant, doing it more often. I wanted a more poppy sound for a song and what better way than using falsetto and tambourine for the chorus? Every line in this song talks about a specific moment in my life that is personal. I also wanted this album to have bits of spirituality so I added lyrics about Opalite (my favorite crystal) and auras (magnetic energy fields people emanate). Fun fact; I wrote this song after getting into a car accident.
