Arrows from Colours by Mike Vivanco
This was the first song written and recorded for this album. This track took inspiration from Vance Joy's "Riptide", which also inspired me to accompany it with a ukulele. I wrote the bridge to this song with inspiration taken from a dream that my girlfriend, at the time, had. The chorus to this song was actually recorded on my iPhone as hums, from when I first thought of the melody years ago. It wasn't until I begun writing songs for this album that I decided to use it and add lyrics to it. So essentially, I worked backwards for this song. I wrote the chorus and then wrote the two verses and bridge.
