#Blackway is the fourth official project from recording artist Blackmikemo. As per usual the theme of the music is heavily influenced by the experience of the American black man. Staying away from cinematic production, #blackway offers a hard hitting grimey score composed by Virginia Beachs very own blend master DJ Diz. Mike Mo and Diz came together with the purpose of creating music that the youth could comprehend while the older generation could get a breath of fresh air. With driven, sarcastic, honest and sometimes offensive lyrics carried out over sharp sample chops and thudding drums, #blackway is sure to be a highly favored piece of work amongst the children who don't know life and the adults who remember.

Mike Mo came into existence in Norfolk, Virginia roughly thirty years ago. At a very young age he was a promising freestyle rapper but after moving to Virginia Beach as a teenager he knew that there was more to his craft. Mike Mo started recording music in a home studio and created ten albums in a five year span.
