Tesseract EP by Mike Dickson
The last in the series of EPs from 2020. This one was hard found and might be one of the releases with which I am least happy, which makes me wonder why I am doing this. The music came from a time when I was missing lots of inspiration and which I started and stopped about five times after a fallow period of months during which there was a worldwide pandemic and the clearest signals yet that we are living in an idiocracy. Sometimes this work and the person I share my life with is all that holds me together. Sometimes this sort of difficulty suggests and informs art. Other times, it just negates it. Perhaps there will be better times ahead, but right now I admit that this is the last music I will be making for a while unless something quite extraordinary happens.
