Equity by Mike Dickson

The next in the ongoing series of 'notebook' releases. Influences are wide and deep and range from the dulled and the dark up to a repeated theme on varying keys, a style that I have already disparaged elsewhere, and a tune with a beat so hard and so damaging that the most robust limiter could only barely keep it under control.

If there was anything else linking these tunes (other than a rare repeated theme starting in F and ending in Gmin) then I'd tell you about it here, but there is not. The only thing of note about this notebook is that the first track is about a third of the length that it started out as (yes, you can hear the join) and that the whole thing was processed without the usual formalities of the eyebrows as it seemed to be fully formed as it emerged. Some editing here and there was needed to keep it in shape, but for the most part it remains as it was gestated.
